Vintage Art Deco Ring Family Crest Signet Green Enamel 14k Yellow Gold Sz 4.5

Finely detailed vintage Art Deco era family crest signet ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

The elaborate signet mount, framed with green enamel, features a foliate motif with possibly an urn or decorative pot to the top (with a flame as if to illuminate the scene). The base of the signet mount reads in Latin the phrase 'cogitare esse acere' or roughly translates to 'Think to be better'. The low rise ring (8mm - 0.31 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
