Stylish contemporary opal & diamond band crafted in 18k yellow gold.
Opals range in size from approx. 6mm to 9mm. Four diamonds total an estimated 0.10 carats (estimated at J-K color and I1-2 clarity). Note: hairline fissure to one opal.
A spectacular contemporary statement ring composed of a mosaic of luminous opals individually bezel-set in yellow gold. Freeform pear, oval and organic-shaped opals are arranged across the wide openwork band, punctuated by sparkling round diamonds.
The irregular arrangement gives the ring an artistic, one-of-a-kind appearance, while the opals display flashes of green, yellow, orange and turquoise. The combination of substantial scale and delicate openwork keeps the design airy despite its dramatic presence. Great worn alone as a statement ring or stacked. The band measures 13mm wide (0.51 inches) and rises 2mm from the finger for a flat and comfortable fit.
The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.

The piece may test from 16k to 17.8k gold with XRF methods.
