Overview:
Finely detailed 'Eye of Horus' ring crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1970s to 1980s).
Turquoise & lapis are inlaid into the band. The Eye of Horos is inlaid with carved carnelian with accenting chalcedony and carnelian. Note: few fissures to the lapis and carnelian (along with evidence of repair to the stones).
The Eye of Horus is an ancient symbol representing protection, health and restoration. The colorful band is wide (18mm - 0.70 inches) and makes a nice statement on the hand. The band sits flat on the finger with a 3mm rise (0.11 inches).
The ring is in good condition with evidence of wear as described above.
