Checkerboard faceted amethyst measures 11mm x 10mm (estimated at 5 carats), accented with an estimated 0.75 carats of iolite. The amethyst is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.

The checkerboard faceted amethyst is bezel set into the east-west facing mount, with iolite set to the under gallery. The colorful ring is ideal worn day or night.
