Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian Krementz pearl & diamond heart pendant/brooch crafted in 14 karat rose gold (circa 1880s to 1900s).
7 old European cut diamonds total an estimated 0.15 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI1-2 clarity). Small seed pearls measure approx. 1mm each. Note: damage to one small seed pearl (edge of the heart).
The romantic heart features pave set pearls, well matching and original to the piece, with a cluster of sparkling diamonds to the center. Made by Krementz, a highly regarded maker of fine jewelry since 1866. They were known for making distinct jewelry of high quality and are great collector pieces today. The piece has a collapsible bale for wear as a pendant or brooch.
The pendant is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
