Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian ring (circa 1880s to 1900s) crafted in 10 karat yellow gold.
Two opals measure 7mm x 4.25mm (estimated at 0.50 carats each - 1 carat total estimated weight). Two old rose cut diamonds are estimated at 0.02 carats each (0.04 carats total estimated weight). Note: one opal is a later addition to the ring.
The double opal design is accented with two diamonds. The opals show a good color matrix from green to blue, purple and turquoise. The side shoulders feature a decorative scrolled design.
The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
