Antique Victorian Opal Diamond Ring Trilogy 18k Yellow Gold Vintage Fine Jewelry

$3,475.00

Overview:

Finely detailed antique Victorian opal & diamond ring (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 18 karat rose gold.

Three opals measure 5mm x 3mm (estimated at 0.25 carats each - 0.75 carats total estimated weight), accented with 16 estimated 0.05 old mine cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.80 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-2 clarity). The opals are in good condition and free of cracks or chips (some light surface abrasions from wear over the years).

The sweet Victorian era ring is set with colorful natural opals, accented with bright sparkly old mine cut diamonds. The three stone 'Trilogy' design represents the past, present and future. The opals show a vivid color matrix, with flashes of green, blue and purple. The east west facing oval shaped ring is smaller to medium in scale, great for day or evening wear. The ring has a low profile, rising 5.5mm from the finger (0.21 inches) and sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in good condition with light wear evident. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
