Antique Victorian Large Locket 18k Yellow Gold Diamond Pearl Enamel Pendant

Overview:

Elaborate antique Victorian locket (circa 1880s to 1900s) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.

One old rose cut diamond is estimated 0.05 carats. The pearls range in size from 1mm to 5mm.

The beautifully detailed locket features an elaborate scalloped design, accented with black enamel detailing. The back of the pendant opens to accommodate a photo or keepsake. The pendant is a wonderful and unique example of jewelry from the late Victorian era. Large in scale, the bale measures 6mm and can accommodate a thick chain if desired.

The pendant is in good condition with light wear evident. The enamel is in-tact with no repairs evident. We have not cleaned the piece in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
