Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian guilloche enamel diamond & pearl heart ring (circa 1880s to 1900s) crafted in 15 karat yellow gold, silver topped.
The center set natural pearl measures 4.5mm x 4mm. 24 old rose cut diamonds total an estimated 0.24 carats (estimated at J-K color and I1-3 clarity).
The charming Victorian ring highlights a guilloche enamel heart with a center set natural pearl, surrounded with old rose cut diamonds. Above the heart is a garland bow, also set with old rose cut diamonds. The underside of the ring is just as lovely, keeping with the romantic design of the ring, with floral and foliate detail. Heart jewelry was popular during the Victorian era during with the reign of Queen Victoria, who adored jewelry with a sentimental and romantic design.
The ring is in good condition with patina evident. The guilloche enamel does show some wear (flaking) yet overall in decent condition considering the age of the ring. We do not clean our antique pieces as our clients generally prefer to preserve the patina and collector value.
