Overview:
Elegant and finely detailed antique Victorian heart pendant & brooch (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14k rose gold.
One estimated 0.06 carat old mine cut diamond adorns the center of the heart (estimated at H-I color and SI1 clarity). The seed pearls are pave set into the mount and measure (average) approx. 1mm to 1.5mm. The pearls show a very slight color variance and we do see evidence that several of the pearls have been replaced over the years.
The romantic heart was a popular motif during the Victorian era. The pendant features a collapsible bale that tucks neatly into the back. The versatile piece can also be worn as a brooch or pin. The piece is in good condition considering its age and is ideal worn alone as a brooch or on a chain.
