Antique Victorian Fox Conversion Ring 14k Gold Diamond Eyes Animal Jewelry

$1,175.00

Overview:

Originally an antique Victorian era stick pin (circa 1880s to 1900s), the fox is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

The ring is mounted with the original stick pin. Our jeweler rounded the stick pin into a slim band for the finger. The beautifully detailed fox features lifelike detail, with diamond set eye. The ring exemplifies the Victorian era when jewelry was crafted with symbols ranging from flora & fauna to a love of the animal kingdom.

Two 0.02 carat old mine cut diamonds total an estimated 0.04 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-2 clarity).

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
