Overview:
Originally an antique Victorian era stick pin (circa 1880s to 1900s), the hound dog is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
The ring is mounted with the original stick pin. Our jeweler rounded the stick pin into a slim band for the finger. The beautifully detailed hound dog features lifelike detail, with a diamond set platinum collar. The ring exemplifies the Victorian era when jewelry was crafted with symbols ranging from flora & fauna to a love of the animal kingdom.
Five estimated 0.01 carat old rose cut diamond and one estimated 0.03 carat old mine cut diamond total an estimated 0.08 carats (estimated at J-K color and I1-2 clarity).
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
