Stunning antique Victorian diamond crescent moon pendant crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1880s to 1900s)

13 old mine cut diamonds graduate in size and total an estimated 2.60 carats (estimated at J-K color and VS2-SI2 clarity).  

Set into a classic crescent moon motif, the old mine cut diamonds are very bright, arranged to create a celestial effect, evoking a shimmering night sky. The crescent moon motif holds a mystical and enduring charm with a timeless connection to the cosmic world. The piece was converted to a pendant from a brooch, with a bale a new addition to the piece.  

The pendant is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.

Size & Measurements: The pendant measures 1 inches diameter (excluding the bale). The bale measures 4mm wide and can accommodate a thin to medium thick chain.

Metal & Hallmark:  14 karat yellow gold. The pendant is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14k gold. Note: the bale is 14k yellow gold and a new addition to the pendant. Please note that vintage and pre-owned jewelry may test slightly below the stamped or tested standard due to manufacturing tolerances, alloy variations, age, solder content, or wear. The piece may test from 12k to 14.8k gold with XRF methods.
