Antique Coronation Medallion 15k Gold George V Mary Pendant Enamel Glasgow

Elaborate antique Edwardian era medallion (circa 1911) crafted in 15 karat yellow gold.

The beautifully detailed medallion dates to 1911 and commemorates the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary on June 22nd. Colorful and elaborate enamel detailing highlights the city of Glasgow (Scotland) Coat of Arms "Let Glasgow Flourish" along with Scottish Thistle flowers to the reverse. The medallion/pendant is in very good condition to excellent condition with very little wear evident. Great for wear on a chain with a larger 5mm bale that can accommodate a thicker chain if desired.

We have not cleaned the piece in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
