Overview:

Finely detailed antique Art Nouveau era opal & diamond ring (circa 1900s to 1910s) crafted in 10 karat yellow gold.

Cabochon cut opal measures 16mm x 7.5mm (estimated at 3.50 carats), accented with two estimated 0.01 carat old single cut diamonds. The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.

The opal shows a strong color matrix in natural sunshine from green to red, orange, yellow, blue and purple. Dainty diamond set forget me not flowers adorn both ends of the ring. Flora and fauna were popular themes during the Art Nouveau era. With a curved saddle the ring sits comfortably on the finger with a low rise (5.5mm - 0.21 inches). The colorful ring is impactful in design and ideal worn day or night.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
