80s Vintage Diamond Ring Sculptural Bypass Sz 8.5 Cocktail Band Fine Jewelry

$2,985.00

Overview:

Stylish vintage diamond sculptural ring crafted in 14k yellow gold (circa 1980s).

68 pave set diamonds total an estimated 0.50 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI2-I1 clarity).

A dramatic vintage diamond statement ring constructed as two opposing sculptural forms sweeping across the finger, one rendered in yellow gold and the other in white gold. The design is particularly striking for its use of negative space. Rather than forming a conventional closed centerpiece, the two diamond-set elements appear to move toward and past one another, creating an asymmetric, almost kinetic silhouette. The ring has a great presence of the hand, sitting flat and comfortably on the finger (rises 5mm - 0.19 inches).
From the side, the complexity of the construction becomes even more apparent: the ring incorporates open areas beneath the sweeping upper elements, allowing light into the diamonds while keeping the substantial design visually balanced.

The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
