Overview:
Stylish and finely detailed large opal & diamond cocktail ring crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1960s).
Cabochon cut opal measures 20mm x 9mm. 30 single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.30 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI2 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
A long oval natural opal adorns the center of the elaborate cocktail ring, with diamonds set in cascading form. The opal shows a strong play of colors with flashes of green, purple, turquoise, orange and yellow. The ring is large in scale and makes a great statement on the hand. The high rise ring (15mm - 0.59 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. The matching earrings and pendant/brooch are also available for sale.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
