Stylish and finely detailed amethyst ring crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1960s).
Faceted oval cut amethyst measures 17mm x 14mm (estimated at 11 carats). Note: light surface abrasions to the amethyst (visible under a 10x loupe).
The large cocktail ring highlights a rich royal purple amethyst, set within an ornate bead designed mount. The ring makes a great statement on the hand, perfect for day or evening wear. The high rise ring (10mm - 0.39 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
