Cabochon cut natural jelly opal, 2.25 carats. The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal exhibits a strong play of colors from blue to green, turquoise, orange yellow and bits of red. Surrounding the opal is 12 full cut, total weight approx. 0.18ct, G-H color, VS-SI qualities, good cuts.
The jelly opal lights up in natural sunlight, with interchangeable colors as alluring as confetti. Jelly opals have a wonderous watery like appearance showing strong color flashes with every movement of the ring. The cocktail ring is medium in scale and makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (7.5mm - 0.29 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
