Overview:
Finely detailed vintage snake ring crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1970s).
Cultured pearls measure from 2.5mm to 3.5mm. One small diamond is estimated at 0.05 carats. Two small rubies are set into the eyes (note - small chip to one ruby visible under a 10x loupe).
For centuries the snake has represented eternal love and faithfulness. The elaborate textured snake coils and winds around the mount, making a great statement on the hand. The cluster of cultured pearls is a unique design element to the ring, possibly a reference to fertility, creation and life. The ring rises 11mm from the finger (0.43 inches).
The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
