Overview:
Finely detailed vintage Art Deco opal & diamond ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 900 platinum.
Center set opal measures 8.5mm. single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.30 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-I1 clarity. The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips (note: light surface abrasions to the opal visible under a 10x loupe and commensurate with age and wear).
The stylish Art Deco era ring features a colorful opal with flashes of green, orange, yellow, turquoise and purple. The mount and side shoulders feature intricate hand etched foliate detail, set with sparkling single cut diamonds. The ring would make a lovely vintage alternative engagement or right hand ring for everyday wear. The ring has a lower profile and rises 6.5mm from the finger (0.25 inches).
The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
