Vintage Cartier ruby 'Ellipse' ring crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1992).
Oval faceted ruby measures 5mm x 4mm (note: small chip to the edge of the ruby - visible under a 10x loupe).
The classic ring was made by Cartier in 1992. The ring is great worn alone or stacked with your fine jewelry from any era and would also make a unique choice as an alternative wedding ring. The ring does not come with Cartier papers or a box.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.

Metal & Hallmark: 18k yellow gold. The ring is hallmarked "750" for 18k gold, "Cartier" along with the serial number and "1992". The outer band is stamped with the French eagle head (French 18k assay mark).
