Finely detailed "Love Token" charm crafted in 14k yellow gold (circa 1970).
Three small single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.03 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-2 clarity).
Highly sought after and collectible, the large charm measures 29.5mm (1.16 inches). "Qu'Hier - Que Demain' translates to "Yesterday - Tomorrow" and symbolizes the romantic phrase "I love you more today and less than tomorrow" Set upon a textured background is "je t'aime plus qu'hier moins que demain" with three small diamonds set into a heart at the base of the charm. Although unsigned, it is a known design and we are attributing the piece to Merrin, a prominent US jewelry maker known for the romantic love tokens.
The pendant is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
