Vintage Cartier Colisee sapphire ring crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1992).
Cabochon cut sapphire measures 05mm x 3.5mm.
The delightful ring highlights a cabochon cut sapphire to the center of the crossover design. The Colisee collection drew its creative design from classical Roman architecture, specifically the circular, multi-tiered structure of the Roman Colosseum. The ring has a wonderful voluptuous domed shape, great worn alone as a statement ring or worn stacked. Dating to 1992 the ring is an out of production Cartier design. The ring does not come with Cartier papers or a box.
The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
