Charming pair of vintage natural opal & diamond drop earrings (circa 1960s to 1970s) crafted in 14k yellow gold.

Opals measure 14mm x 7mm (estimated at 2.20 carats each - 4.40 carats total estimated weight). Marquise & round brilliant cut diamonds total an estimated 1.42 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The opals are in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.

The opals are set into charming botanical style drop mounts. The opals show a good color matrix from green to orange, purple, blue and yellow color flashes. The earrings are medium in scale and make a great statement on the earlobe. Fitted with posts and butterfly backings for pierced ears.
