Overview:
Finely detailed antique Art Nouveau enamel pansy earrings (circa 1900s to 1910s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Two 3.5mm cultured pearls adorn the center of the enameled flowers. The pearls are lustrous and show soft rose overtones. The enamel is in good condition (free of cracks or chips).
Sweet and petite, the darling earrings highlight vivid azure and cornflower blues with small pearls to the center of the petals. The enamel is hand painted on layers of petals for a lifelike appearance. Larter & Sons is a famed American jewelry manufacturer since 1865 and was based in Newark, NJ. Sadly, the company closed its doors in 2014. Today Larter & Sons jewelry has become desired collector pieces.
