Finely detailed vintage Mexican fire opal and ruby ring (circa 1970s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Mexican fire opals range in size from 0.40 to 1.50 carats. The total opal weight is estimated at 4 carats. The 5 rubies total an estimated 0.10 carats. The opals are in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
Bold and distinct design abounds with the organic like nugget mount. The opals exhibit a nice color matrix with flashes of orange, red, green and yellow.
