Overview:

Finely detailed antique Victorian opal & diamond ring (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14 karat rose gold.

Center set opal measures 5.5mm x 4mm (estimated at 0.30 carats), accented with a further four 2.25mm opals. Eight old mine cut diamonds are estimated at 0.02 carats each and total an estimated 0.16 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI2-I1 clarity). The opals are in good condition and free of cracks or chips (some light surface abrasions from wear over the years).

The sweet Victorian era ring is set with colorful natural opals, accented with bright sparkly old mine cut diamonds. The opals show a vivid color matrix, with flashes of green, blue and purple. The triangular shaped ring is small in scale, great for day or evening wear. The ring has a low profile, rising 4mm from the finger (0.15 inches) and sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in good condition with light wear evident.
