Stylish amethyst & diamond wide band (circa 1980s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Emerald cut amethyst measures 12mm x 10mm (estimated at 5 carats), accented with an estimated 1.25 carats of diamonds (estimated at I-J color and SI1-I1 clarity).
Set with a rich royal purple amethyst to the center, the chain link style ring is a great example of bold 1980s era jewelry. Designed as a wider band (20mm - 0.78 inches), the ring is great worn alone as a statement ring or can be worn stacked. The ring has a lower profile on the finger, rising 7.5mm (0.29 inches).
The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
