Stylish natural opal, sapphire & diamond ring (circa 1960s) crafted in 14k white gold.
Natural opal measures 10mm x 7mm. 16 diamonds total an estimated 1.20 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Marquise cut sapphires measure approx. 4mm x 2mm. Note: light surface abrasions to the opal (visible under a 10x loupe).
The natural opal is cut en cabochon in an oval shape, with a surround of shimmering diamonds and blue sapphires. The combination of gemstones is striking and unique. If you love color, you'll love this ring! The opal exhibits strong flashes of green, yellow, turquoise, blue, and purple, all lighting up in natural sunlight. The medium rise ring (10.5mm - 0.41 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
