Stylish vintage abstract opal & diamond cocktail ring (circa 1970s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Natural opal measures 17mm x 12mm (estimated at 3.50 carats) is accented with five round brilliant cut diamonds totaling an estimated 0.31 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-I1 clarity). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.

The natural opal shows a strong color matrix, with flashes of green, yellow, purple, orange and red. With an abstract design, the ring is a great example of 70s abstract jewelry design. The medium rise ring (6mm - 0.23 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
