Stylish vintage Ethiopian opal & diamond cocktail ring crafted in 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1960s to 1970s).

Natural opal is at estimated at 10 carats, accented with two estimated 0.08 carat diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.16 carats (estimated at H-I color and I2-3 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal is a later addition to the ring.

The natural opal shows a strong color matrix, with an orange color base and vivid flashes of green, yellow, purple, turquoise and red. With an off-center setting the mount highlights the beauty of the opal, with two diamonds to each end. The medium rise ring (9.5mm - 0.37 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
