Overview:
Finely detailed vintage opal & diamond pendant crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1970s).
Cabochon cut opal measures 20mm x 15mm (estimated at 9 carats), accented with an estimated 0.90 carats of diamonds (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI2 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The large pendant is set with a colorful natural opal that exhibits a strong play of colors from green to orange, yellow, purple, red, turquoise and blue. The opal is framed with shimmering marquise cut diamonds. A great piece to wear alone or as a statement piece.
The pendant is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
