Stylish natural opal & diamond elongated cocktail ring (circa 1960s) crafted in 14k white gold.
Natural opal measures 23mm x 10mm. 46 diamonds total an estimated 2.25 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Note: small natural (potch) inclusion to the opal (breaks the surface).
The natural opal is cut in an elongated shape, design for a dramatic look on the hand. A double row of shimmering diamonds surrounds the opal, making this ring an absolute showstopper. The opal exhibits strong flashes of green, yellow, turquoise, blue, and purple, all lighting up in natural sunlight. The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
