Overview:

Stylish vintage opal & diamond 'half moon' ring (circa 1970s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Four opals measure 7mm x 5mm (estimated at 0.40 carats each - 1.60 carats total estimated weight). The opals are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. Four diamonds total an estimated 0.05 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-2 clarity).

The unique 'half moon' setting highlights four opals set into an ornate bead set openwork mount, designed to highlight the opals and diamonds. The opals show flashes of green, purple, yellow, orange and turquoise. The cocktail ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (11mm - 0.43 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
