Finely detailed pair of vintage Tiffany & Co Chrysalis earrings crafted in 18k yellow gold.
Dating to 1983 the stylized ribbons are crafted in 18k yellow gold. The design is sculptural, yet fluid and the earrings feel alive with movement and intention. The word "Chrysalis" refers to the stage in a butterfly's life when transformation is quietly underway. It symbolizes metamorphosis, renewal, and becoming - a pause before emergence. Paloma Picasso is known for bold designs and the earrings are a great example of her early work for Tiffany & Co. The earrings are fitted with post and butterfly backings for pierced ears.
