Antique Victorian Ostby Barton Wedding Ring 10k Rose Gold Sz 11.5 Mens Band

$495.00

Overview:

Finely detailed Victorian ring (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 10 karat rose gold.

The ring is made by Ostby & Barton, one of the most well known jewelry manufacturers of the period. The firm was founded in 1879 and ceased production around the 1950s. Sadly, Ostby perished aboard the Titanic whilst his elder daughter survived. Today, Ostby & Barton jewelry is highly desired by collectors of fine vintage jewelry for the exquisite workmanship and history behind the company.

The wedding band features a continuous pattern of embossed panels in a scrolled and foliate pattern. The ring is large in size (11 1/2) and is suitable for a man or a woman to wear.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
