Overview:

Finely detailed vintage Art Deco era ring (circa 1920s to 1930s), crafted in 18 karat white gold.

Centrally mounted rectangular cushion cut Ceylon blue sapphire measures approx. 10.8 x 8.7 x 5.1mm (estimated at 4.80 carats - by formula). The sapphire has a clarity grade of VS and color vB/3/3 according to GIA grading standards. The stone is light violetish-blue in color and approx. 10% brilliance. The stone does not show any indication of being heat treated. 52 single cut diamonds ranging in size from 0.02 to 0.03 carats each with an approx. total weight of 1.08 carats. The diamonds have a clarity grade of SI and color E/F/G. The sapphire is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.

The beautiful Ceylon sapphire is a violet-blue color and makes a great statement on the hand. The medium rise square ring (9mm - 0.35 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. Ideal for wear as an alternative engagement ring or right hand ring for everyday wear.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
