Antique Victorian Dragon Ring Conversion Griffin Diamond 14k Yellow Gold Sz 4

Overview:

The ring is mounted with the original stick pin. Our jeweler rounded the stick pin into a slim band for the finger. The beautifully detailed ring is set with an estimated 0.03 carat old mine cut diamond (estimated at I-J color and SI2 clarity) and a 1mm seed pearl. The griffin or dragon with open wings is set with a diamond to the mouth and a small seed pearl to the coiled base. The dragon was a popular motif in antique jewelry around the turn of the 20th century, a symbol of courage and strength.

The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
