Overview:
Stylish antique Victorian 3 stone moonstone ring (circa 1899) crafted in 9 karat yellow gold.
Cabochon cut moonstones measure 5mm (estimated at 1 carat each - 3 carats total estimated weight). The moonstones are in good condition and free or cracks or chips (light surface abrasions from normal wear visible under a 10x loupe)
The high cabochon cut moonstones exhibit a beautiful rainbow blue glow with every movement of the ring. The classic three stone claw setting, popular during the Victorian era, is great for day or evening wear. The medium rise ring (7mm - 0.27 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. The ring features English hallmarks (see below).
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
