A unique men's ring featuring English assay marks, crafted in 9 karat gold.
Round brilliant cut diamond is estimated at 0.03 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI2 clarity).
English assay marks identify the gold content, where the ring was made and by what company. The marks are typically struck on the inside of a ring band, so to see them on a signet mount is quite unusual. The top left of signet mount is the Makers Mark "C&W" followed by the Mark of Origin for Sheffield. The larger "375" mark is the gold content mark for 9 karat, followed by a crown (standard mark).
Although the ring is made for a man's hand it can be resized and worn by a woman. It would make a great statement ring.
The ring is in excellent condition and was recently professionally cleaned and polished. The ring was acquired on our recent buying trip to Scotland.
