Striking and elegant pair of vintage Persian turquoise, amethyst & diamond pendant drop earrings (circa 1960s to 1970s) crafted in 18k yellow gold.
Persian turquoise measures 25mm x 8mm, accented with two estimated 5 carat heart cut amethysts (10 carats total estimated weight). 12 round brilliant cut diamonds total an estimated 0.18 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-2 clarity). The turquoise & amethyst are in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
The stylish earrings feature a striking and colorful combination of gemstones. The egg shell blue turquoise pendant drops contrast nicely with the rich royal purple amethysts. The earrings are fitted with post & hinged omega backings for pierced ears.
The earrings are in very good condition and were recently professionally cleaned and polished.
