Lovely antique Victorian signet ring (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 10 karat yellow gold.
The center is inscribed with initials "FSM" (from what we can decipher and faded due to wear). The saddle of the ring is low and allows the ring to sit flat on the finger. The signet ring is a harder-to-find east west facing oval profile with an etched scrolled pattern to the under gallery and side shoulders.
The ring is in good condition with patina evident. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
Weight: 5 grams
Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 7 (sizable). The mount measures 10.5mm wide (0.41 inches), rising 2.5mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: 10 karat yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 10k gold.
