Finely detailed antique Victorian jelly opal ring (circa 1880s to 1900s) crafted in 10 karat yellow gold.

Stones: Natural cabochon cut opal measures 12mm x 10mm (estimated at 4 carats). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips (some light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe).
Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 4 1/4 (sizable). The mount measures 14mm in length (0.55 inches) and 12mm wide (0.47 inches), rising 9mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: 10 karat yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 10k gold.
