Finely detailed antique Victorian necklace (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
The 5 natural coral drops each measure 21mm x 6.5mm. The coral is a salmon-orange hue. The drops are in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
The pointed coral drops are attached to decorative oval supports. The 2mm chain is textured with a softness that has developed over the years. The tubular clasp features a slip lock closure. The necklace measures 15 1/2 inches and sits at the nape of the neck. The draped necklace was popular during the era and is a wonderful example of Victorian made jewelry. The pointed coral drops have a fierce look worn today. The necklace would make an ideal gift to the bride or a special piece of antique jewelry to pass down through the generations.
