Overview:

 Finely detailed vintage Art Deco era ring (circa 1932), crafted in 22 karat yellow gold.

Centrally mounted old mine cut diamond is estimated at 0.05 carats, accented with 8 estimated 0.02 carat diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.21 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI2-I1 clarity).

The diamonds are each set in a secure 900 platinum mount. The simple and elegant design highlights the sparking old cut diamonds set in the round cluster design. The cluster design was popular during the Victorian era and often gifted by a gentleman wishing to 'court' and show his intentions to his love. The ring is great worn on its own as a cocktail ring, as an engagement ring or promise ring.

The ring was sourced on our recent buying trip to Wales.

Metal & Hallmark: 22 karat yellow gold. The ring features several British hallmarks. The first mark is the Makers Mark "C.P.S" followed by a Crown and "22" for 22 karat gold. The next hallmark is the Mark of Origin for Birmingham (anchor on its side) followed by the Date Letter sequence for the year 1932 (letter 'H' in upper case).
