Ornate sputnik domed gemstone cocktail ring (circa 1950s to 1960s) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.

Citrines measure from 5mm to 8.5mm and total an estimated 12 carats. The gemstones are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.

The largest Sputnik ring we've ever come across, the ring measures 34mm diameter (1.33 inches) and makes a great statement on the hand. With a resemblance to the Russian space satellite "Sputnik" the ring is set with a unique arrangement of citrine stones in raised bezel settings.

The cocktail ring is in very good original condition and was recently professionally cleaned and polished.
