Overview:
Vintage Art Deco era natural sapphire (heated) cocktail ring (circa 1930s) crafted in 14 karat white gold.
Cabochon cut Ceylon origin natural sapphire measures 15mm x 7mm (estimated at 7.50 carats). The sapphire is in good condition with some light abrasions visible under a 10x loupe. The sapphire has eye visible inclusions.
Green, black, and red frame the sapphire and adds a beautiful pop of color to the ring. The die struck lacy filigree mount is a feast for the eyes and a great example of Art Deco era jewelry design. The captivating ring makes a great statement on the hand with a medium rise (10mm - 0.39 inches).
The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
