Finely detailed pair of vintage Tiffany & Co earrings crafted in sterling silver and 14k yellow gold (circa 1980s).
The earrings feature sweeping diagonal channels across domed surfaces, each accented with fine yellow gold twisted rope. The contrast between sterling silver and 14k gold creates the distinctive two-tone look that appeared throughout Tiffany's late-20th-century jewelry.
Beautifully dimensional and substantial on the ear, these are an excellent example of Tiffany's ability to make silver jewelry feel luxurious and architectural. The dome earrings are fitted with hinged omega clip on backings for pierced or non-pierced ears.
The earrings are in very good condition and were lightly cleaned and polished. Light patina visible.
