Overview:
Scarce vintage Cartier sculptural ring crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1970s).
The two bulbous gold domed terminals highlight the sculptural design so popular in the 1970s. Spain signed examples appear far less frequently on the secondary market than more commonly made Cartier pieces in France, England, Italy or Switzerland. It's not often that we come across Spanish hallmarked Cartier pieces (we've found just one previously) making this a great collector piece. The ring is hefty to the touch at 10.7 grams and has a nice weighty feel on the hand. It's a wearable sculpture and testament to Cartier's distinct design during the 70s when bold gold jewelry was so popular.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished. The ring can be further buffed and polished if desired.
